I’ve been told I’m intelligent and a genius most of my life by many people. I’m also told I’m mentally ill more than I’m not. Now, we’re dirt under the boot of oppression. Intelligence is not considered good by many religions, political parties, and the less intelligent. You people trust us to create beauty and truth but, you refute the proof when it doesn’t match your biases. That’s why we go mad. We’re ignored and trampled by most because, we’re not holding spears in our hands, but in our brains. We are so doubted and criticized for thinking differently that we doubt ourselves. A vicious cycle where everyone wants to hear the truth, but only if it fits into this neat preconceived narrative that doesn’t cause dissonance.
