I’ve been on the Vintage Text Fly Me To The Moon Shirt Instead hunt lately for basic T-shirts, and have tried out quite a few. Here are some of my favorites. As a preface, I’ll say, I tend to go for more form-fitting shirts with a more structured fabric, slightly extended short sleeves, a U- or scoop neck, and majority cotton fiber content (no polyester, but I have an exception for up to 5% elastic) – 95% Pima Cotton 5% Elastane. Choose the fit you want, and it will show you the styles that correspond. The biggest and probably best place to find specific-style unique clothing is Amazon. While I’d really like to support my local shops, they basically stock what sells; most mainstream businesses don’t typically stock some of the more “unique” styles of clothing …like long line shirts and hoodies. With Amazon the “best brands” are the ones with the best feedback ratings. Most of the stuff on Amazon are brands I’ve never heard of …so I go with the review/feedback ratings; that’s worked well so far for the shirts I’ve scored. I would be remiss if I didn’t give Adam Pringle a shout out; I credit a photo of a guy wearing a long line scalloped shirt in one of his postings with introducing me to, and piquing my interest in, this style of shirt. So I’ve also been looking for some “long line” plain pullover shirts …t-shirts …in both long sleeve …specifically “thumb hole” shirts …and short sleeve versions. I like the shirts with rounded “tails” and “scalloped” sides …
